“After the prologue weekend in December Season IX gives the Pro Teams one month of training and adjusting the shape as well as the technique before the first traditional long distance event- also open for recreational skiers, takes place. Kaiser Maximilian Lauf is held for the third time but already ranked as the fourth most popular event in the tour by the Pro Teams.  The Kaiser starting in down town Seefeld is a varied course over 60 km with both flat and hilly parts, through the Seefeld, picturesque Mösern, Wildmoos and Leutasch areas before heading back to the finish line in Seefeld, where the great Tyrolian after ski is awaiting. Kaiser Maximilian lauf host the start of the Visma Alp Trophy competition.
